How to Organize a Small Laundry Room

Nobody has ever thought, “I wish I spent more time in my laundry room.” Yet laundry is a necessary evil, and keeping it organized and functional is imperative. 1. Make it easier to use a small laundry room

2. Where you sort and store dirty laundry: Keep sorting baskets close by. 

If your washer and dryer are in a closet, put the baskets just outside the door so you can quickly grab them when it’s time to do a load. If your appliances are in an open space, position the baskets nearby so you don’t have to walk across the room with a armful of clothes. Sorting dirty clothes as you go will save you time later on. Start by putting your folding table or ironing board near the window for natural light (or good ventilation if you’re using an iron). Finally, consider adding a mirror near the exit so you can give yourself one last once-over before leaving the house!
