As we make our way into 2023, it’s a great time to “hit the reset button” and start fresh. While many people make New Year’s resolutions about personal health, Strip Clean wanted to shift awareness to protecting the environment.
While most of us know we should live more sustainably, it’s extremely easy to get stuck in complacent habits. For example, you might have stopped putting in the extra effort to recycle or perhaps opt to drive a few short blocks for errands when you could easily walk.
Now that we are entering a new year, it’s a great time to reassess our habits and establish sustainable living. If you are having a hard time choosing changes to make in 2022, Strip Clean put together this brief list of suggestions:
- Strip Clean has some great reusable options for laundry Soap Bar and house cleaning, Laundry Soap Bar, Pet Shampoo Bar, Toilet Cleaning Tablets, Floor Cleaning Sheets and All-Purpose Cleaning. Not only will this help reduce your carbon footprint, but it will also save you money in the long run. Recycling: This one might seem obvious, but recycling is still one of the important things you can do to reduce your environmental impact. Make sure you are recycling everything you can and encourage others to do the same! If everyone makes an effort, we can really make a difference.

- Reusable Container: Ditch the single-use plastics and invest in some reusable containers! You can find them at any store these days, so there is no excuse not to have some on hand.

- Composting: Composting is a great way to reduce food waste and help your garden grow! If you don’t have a green thumb, there are plenty of ways to compost without having a garden. You can even compost if you live in an apartment.

- Driving less: Driving emits harmful pollutants into the air, so try to drive less when possible. Instead, walk, bike, or take public transportation whenever possible. If everyone makes an effort to drive less, we can help improve air quality and reduce traffic congestion.

By following these simple tips, you can help make 2022 a sustainable year! What changes will you be making?
